Goldilocks

Workouts:  morning and evening walks with Layla

I can't be sure, but I think Goldilocks has been sleeping in my bed!

It's been years since I've had a pooch, but since I'm dog sitting now, I have one burning question:  why do dogs eat poop?  Seriously!  Golden Retriever Barbie ate the neighborhood cat's poop (TMI?)!  I'm sure there's an evolutionary or scientific reason for this but I can't imagine what it might be.  I must Google it.

I had an appointment at lunch today with my new financial advisor.  Handsome fellow.  Young.  Smart.  Intense.  Sincere.  I could almost wish I were 15 years younger.  Almost.

I occasionally think about what I would do differently if I could be 35 again.  And then I think:  why don't I just do those things now?  I would be fitter and stronger (with a perkier body!), more responsible with money, more selective about how I would spend my time and energy, more discriminating about men.  No reason not to do all of those things now....because when I'm 65, I'll be thinking about what I should have done at 50 if I'd only known.

Deep thoughts on an almost-Friday.

  1. Dogs are opportunists! I know that Tippy sleeps on our bed/couch/chair etc. since she's black...ergo black hair everywhere!

She doesn't eat poop though so no advice there. But maybe you can tell me why she hid half a box of Milkbones under the cushions of the couch while we were out!

  2. Poor Tippy! She's a rescue dog and she needs to hoard food.
